Press Including punching machines and hydraulic presses, it is characterized by its wide range of applications and high production efficiency. It processes metal into parts by applying strong pressure to metal blanks, causing plastic deformation and fracture of the metal.
I. Classification of Presses
1. Pneumatic Press
A pneumatic press consists of a pneumatic-hydraulic booster cylinder + worktable + control logic valve. It uses pneumatic and hydraulic outputs, and a 3kg-7kg air source can achieve a high-pressure output of 1 to 100 tons.
2. Crank Press
The crank press is one of the commonly used cold stamping equipment and is the working platform for cold stamping dies. This utility model has a simple structure and is easy to use. According to the different bed structures, crank presses can be divided into open crank presses and closed crank presses; according to the number of drive connecting rods, they can be divided into single-point presses or multi-point presses; according to the number of slides, they can be divided into single-action presses and double-action presses.
3. Multi-station Press
A multi-station press is an advanced press equipment that integrates multiple presses. It generally consists of a line head unit, a feeding mechanism, a press, and a line tail. The fast beat can reach more than 40 times/minute, which can meet the needs of high-speed automated production. The screw head unit can be divided into unloading units, magnetic tapes, cleaning and oiling equipment, etc.; the feeding mechanism is generally composed of feeding arms; the press is generally divided into multi-slide and single-slide, which can be selected according to different needs. The tail of the line is usually composed of a conveyor belt.
II. Mechanical Principle of Presses
The working mechanism of the press is driven by a motor through a transmission mechanism to apply processing force to the workpiece. The transmission mechanism is a speed reduction mechanism driven by belts and gears; crank mechanism, connecting rod mechanism, and hydraulic cylinder mechanism.
The spiral press does not have a fixed lower stop. For large-scale die forging, it can be formed by multiple impacts, and can be single impact, continuous impact, and point movement. The impact force is related to the deformation of the workpiece. When the deformation is large, the impact force is small, and when the deformation is small (such as cold wind), the impact force is large. In these aspects, it is similar to a forging hammer.
III. Structure of Presses
1. Four-column Hydraulic Press
The press should have reliable structural rigidity and anti-deformation ability. The die lifting connecting device should be equipped at the position of the hydraulic station and the pressure row. The hydraulic station and the pressure row should be equipped with removable dust covers. The output direction of the workpiece is the length (3000) direction. The technical parameters are as follows: nominal pressure 190T; effective worktable area 3000 × 750 mm2. Pressure relief moving speed 75~100 mm/S; maximum opening and closing distance 550 mm; pressure holding time 8h; press base height 0.5~0.55M.
2. Control Cabinet
Cabinet-type pressure and temperature combination work cabinet. Tools and switches on the cabinet panel; switching power supply, indicator lights, voltmeter, ammeter. Press the "operation" button and the cursor. Pressure indicator; heating switch indicator light; digital display temperature regulator (accuracy ±1℃); isolation timer and temperature alarm; maximum operating temperature 180℃; heating speed: 1.5℃-1.5℃/min; temperature unevenness ±3℃, three-phase power supply heating energy balance; temperature regulator; real-time control; temperature measurement.

What are the characteristics of a hydraulic press?
CNC hydraulic oil pumps generally use internal gear pumps, while traditional hydraulic presses generally use axial piston pumps. At the same flow rate and pressure, the noise of an internal gear pump is 5 dB to 10 dB lower than that of an axial piston pump. The motor of a CNC hydraulic press runs at rated speed during pressing and return, and its noise emission is 5 dB to 10 dB lower than that of a traditional hydraulic press. When the slider rapidly descends and is stationary, the servo motor speed is 0, so the CNC hydraulic press has essentially no noise emission.

Application scope and system selection of small hydraulic presses
Suitable applications for small hydraulic presses include: 1. Punching various silicone and plastic buttons for mobile phones or remote controls, and cutting plastic products; 2. Cutting various protective films for mobile phones, digital cameras, and laptop LCD screens, as well as precision cutting and halving of various pressure-sensitive adhesives and trademarks; 3. Embossing, forming, etc., of various PV, PE, PC and other thin-film switches and panels; 4. Pressing and forming various flexible circuit lines for laptop keyboards, etc. Small hydraulic presses use original Taiwanese or Japanese parts for the hydraulic power system, resulting in fewer malfunctions, high efficiency, low noise, low horsepower requirements, easy maintenance, and convenient adjustment of output, speed, and stroke.

Technology Daily (Reporter Shi Junbin, Correspondent Jiao Yue) Recently, a 19,500-ton free forging hydraulic press and a 300-ton/750-ton-meter full hydraulic forging manipulator, independently developed by China Heavy Industry Corporation, successfully completed their first hot load test run in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. This marks the completion of the world's largest tonnage free forging hydraulic press and the world's largest clamping force/clamping torque full hydraulic forging manipulator currently in operation, achieving a globally advanced level of overall equipment installation. The 19,500-ton free forging hydraulic press adopts a three-beam, four-column, three-cylinder, top-drive, press-insert, full pre-stressed frame structure. Both the upper and lower beams use pre-stressed composite beams. The maximum forging capacity can reach 4
